Let me remind you that the Kingdom of Hawaii, was, like the State of Hawaii, a multi-racial government. Putting together a committee to decide who is and who isn’t Hawaiian enough to be a part of this race-based government is an offense to the principles of equality, justice, freedom and the wisdom of our kupuna who embraced all of humanity as equals with the first constitution of the Kingdom of Hawaii which stated that all people were “of one blood”. Please reconsider your support of apartheid in Hawaii. It is the wrong thing to do. |
